This robot kit has a lot of positives and a few negatives.

For the price, this is a great kit which gets a lot of useful parts and construction abilities. The Manual/directions are not perfectly clear, but are not terrible. The construction is fairly straightforward, although there is one very annoying part of this build: the location of the power switch. When this robot is constructed, the power switch is not accessable without the use of a reaching implement. If would be nice if this was more accessable!

This kit is based on Raspberry Pi, which makes it DEFINITELY NOT a beginner robot. The programming and controls of this robot are most definitely on the advanced side of robotics. The kit allows for basic building, but the programming is a much higher level.

The overall function of the robot is decent. It is able to walk and move, but some of the features are not as easily usable (or directly usable). The camera was able to work, as is the movement and such. The self stabilization and the other features are not easily engageable. Extra programming/research is required.

The programming of the robot itself also takes a lot of additional research.

It should also be noted this robot requires wifi connection to operate and control. It also requires a manually updated IP address and wifi connection, so changing the location of use is not easy, and required the SD card to be written to. This makes it a bit more difficult to simply take anywhere. It's ok if you are only planning on using this robot in a single location with a constant wifi.

The only other annoying thing about this kit is the lack of included batteries and the lack of the included Pi. Other than that, it is pretty decent.

Overall: Good robot. Really good product for the price!

Robot was good to build but the program I downloded wouldn't work with it. Can't get it to even move after getting the right software.

To begin with, A really fun procedure to assemple, maybe a manual inside the box would come in handy.
An interesting robot to work with and experiment with OpenCv and Raspberry in general.
Would recommend!
