Hi,

is there a way to control my Adeept AWR 4WD WiFi Smart Robot Car Kit for Raspberry Pi from the WAN (ie non from the local network) ?

So far, I've opened and forwarded port 5000 on my router and I can see the webcam stream but I cannot control the AWR.

Do I have to open other ports ? looking at the source code I see a port 8888 that is reserved inside my model... is this port used ?

if yes, can I change it to something else ?

     Best Regards,

For those who are trying to control the AWR from the wide area network, I finally found that you have at least to open port 5000 and port 8888 (ws); I'm not sure about 10223 and 2256/2257 which I found in the source code and I opened too.

As my ISP provider was reserving port 8888 for it's internal services, I had also to move port 8888 to another one (ie 7777) by editing the file server/dist/js/app.85fd0a94.js

I'm a little bit sorry to say that I got no information from the official support... but that's is why open source is important
