Tsl2561 photometric sensor breakthrough is a kind of complex optical sensor, which has a flat response in most visible spectral range. Unlike simpler sensors, tsl2561 measures infrared and visible light to better estimate the response of the human eye. Moreover, since tsl2561 is an integral sensor (it absorbs light for a predetermined time), it is possible to measure small and large amounts of light by changing the integral time.
Tsl2561 can directly communicate with I2C, and can easily conduct a specific optical range of 0.1-40k + lux. In addition, tsl12561 includes two integrated analog-to-digital converters (ADCs), which integrate the current from two photodiodes at the same time. Each breakout requires a 3V supply voltage and a 0.6ma low supply current.
