Which version of Raspberry software to install?

I recently purchased a Raspberry tank. The instructions are a little dated as the Raspberry software shown in the instructions is not the same on the Raspberry Pi website. Please advise. Also, can this be useed with a Raspberry Pi 3b?

I got the tank running with the raspbian buster lite edition. I had to manually install some software packages to get it working.

If the Raspberry software you mean is an image file (with .img suffix), download the version "Raspbian Buster with desktop and recommended software".
Raspberry Pi 3b is the version we are using and all products also support Raspberry Pi 4.
