One of the biggest things keeping me from getting into the DIY robot scene is the difficulty in sourcing self-recharging stations -- I'm not super worried about sourcing batteries, but the contact plates and control drivers for recharging the robot safely while online seems to be difficult to procure, either in kit form or plans. Any suggestions?

Dear Adeept,
I have built the Mars Rover PicCar-B for RasperryPi and am mostly very happy with it. One thing I will change in the assembly is the motor. When using the Mars Rover in-house the movements of the Rover is way to fast and the torque is insufficient if the speed is limited to under 50%. So I am replacing the installed motor JGA25-370 620 rpm with a motor JGA25-370 77 rpm. This motor has a lower speed and a better torque. It does fit in the same assembly.
So: why not have the option of specify the motorgear in the order process?

18650 battery specification: It is recommended to use lithium battery above 3000mAh and without overcurrent protection. The power supply current requirement is above 3A. Using 18650 lithium battery with overcurrent protection function, 18650 battery whose capacity is less than 1700mAh, 18650 battery specially for strong-light flashlight, 18650 battery with power shortage or counterfeit lithium battery produced by informal manufacturers will cause the unstable work of the robot,power cut and even damage to the robot.
